Kasbah des Oudayas, Rabat in Morocco: Walk from Salé

This video starts on the quiet streets of Salé, on our way to the neighbouring city of Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Our destination is Kasbah des Oudayas, a hilltop citadel at the mouth of the Bou Regreg river and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The upper part of the Kasbah dates from the 12th century, whilst the lower part dates from the 18th century.

On our way, we stop off at the Andalusian Gardens, created between 1915 and 1918, during the French rule.
