World’s Largest Free Kitchen in Amritsar, India (Langar at Golden Temple)

In this video, we’re back in Amritsar, India.

First, we visit Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial park to a massacre. Then, we revisit Sri Harmandir Sahib (the Golden Temple) and visit the Langar, the world’s largest free kitchen, to try some free vegetarian food.

We asked people in the kitchen whether the food was vegan and they reassured us that it was. That said, we’re still not completely sure and judging by the number of empty Ghee cans we saw piled up at the back, we’re probably right to be dubious.
